Armenia and Karabakh Reported Seven Military Casualties in Seven Days

Seven military personnel died in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh in the past seven days, the latest of them having been reported dead by the Armenian Defense Ministry Sunday, May 1: NKR Defense Army soldier Ashot Sh Zohrabyan was reportedly killed by Azerbaijani fire in Martuni, a region situated in the east of the contact line between the sides of the conflict.

The other five servicemen of the Karabakh forces who were killed last week as a result of Azerbaijani offensive were as follows – Tigran M Poghosyan (born on 1992), Aram N Arushanyan (1972), Hayk S Minasyan (1996), Garik M Movsisyan (1997), and Vazgen H Harutyunyan (1968).

The Armenian Armed Forces also reported a military casualty last Monday: conscript Hovhannes V Petrosyan was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in the back of a GAZ-66 military truck in one of the country's front-line units.
