Armenian President Spoke of Karabakh Conflict with Hillary Clinton

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation Thursday with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to a statement by the Armenian president’s press office, the parties discussed issues related to the current stage of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution process.

Note, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, upon instructions by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, arrived in Yerevan Thursday evening. He is expected to meet with Sargsyan and Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian. According to the Russian foreign minister’s Twitter account, he is departing for Baku on Friday.
